The Town of Berlin

Notorious for participation the 1794 Whiskey Rebellion, the oldest Fife & Drum Corp in the US, and more recently designated as an official Trail Town along the National 911 Memorial Trail, Berlin is a Mountaineer Proud, small town in “America’s County.”  Our businesses can provide anything you may need during your stay.

  • Cup of Soul Cafe - 409 Broadway Street; open 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-Saturday. Closed Sundays. Coffee, breakfast/lunch menu, homemade pastries and locally made crafts.
  • Coalfields Diner - 3494 Berlin Plank Road; open most days 6am-8pm). Homestyle breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dine-in or take-out available.
  • East End Grille - 1310 Main Street; open daily 11am-2am. Wings, sandwiches, beer/cocktails; dine-in or take-out.
  • Fox's Pizza Den - 310 Main Street; open 3pm-9pm Monday-Thursday, 11am-9pm Friday-Sunday. Take-out pizza, sandwiches, salads.
  • New National Bar - 302 Main Street; open 9am-1am daily. Historic "dive bar," cash only, smoking/non-smoking, food and drink specials
  • Whitehorse Brewing - 824 Diamond Street; open Thursday-Sunday. Great local beer, rotating food trucks, live music, trivia/specials.

  • Hillegas Sugar Camp - 455 Dividing Ridge Road, Fairhope; open daily. Pure, Somerset County maple syrup and maple products.
  • Ice Cream Station - 409 Broadway; open 11am-10pm daily from May through September. Walk-up soft serve ice cream
  • Landis Bakery - 526 Main Street; open Tuesday-Friday, 6am-3pm; Saturdays 6am-noon
  • Lazy Lizard - 534 Main Street; seasonal hours. Build-your-own frozen yogurt and pastry shop
  • Miller's Olde Roxbury Store - 9018 Glades Pike; open Thursday-Saturday 9am-4pm. Locally crafted gifts, leather shop, gluten-free baked goods.
